The screen-printed design you see on this t-shirt is a unique imagining of an H.P. Lovecraft short story called The Cats of Ulthar, once again masterfully conjured up by brand artist Sad Ivan!
Said to be a personal favourite of Lovecraft himself, The Cats of Ulthar has remained popular since the famed horror writer’s death in 1937.
The story starts with a nameless narrator whose memory is sparked whilst staring at his own pet cat. Reminiscing about a town called Ulthar where the killing of cats is actually forbidden by law, the narrator begins to tell the intriguing tale of this town with its strange law …
It’s a great story and not very long at all. So, if this is your jam, we definitely recommend that you give it a read!
This is a 160g fitted t-shirt in 100% carded cotton, with shaped side seams and a longer length for a stylish tapered fit. The self-fabric neckline has a flattering round scoop neck.
